Folks lined up in the drizzling rain to get into the RBG centre on April 27th. The Annual Plant Fair is an increasingly popular opportunity to get a head start on gardening season. There were gardening professionals to consult and educational presentations every half hour. RBG’s Junior Gardener’s Club, The Green Thumb, was represented by Madeline and Heather Hall, and instructor Jamie McLean. This group, getting kids involved in gardening, is expanding to give young gardeners more space to get their hands dirty. The youngest group, Cockleshells and Silverbells, are 3-5 year olds.
