Waterdown families flocked to Memorial Park to enjoy the May sunshine. Locals make good use of this well maintained, clean park throughout the year. It is home to baseball diamonds, a playground, splash pad, and a paved path for little people to learn rollerblading or cycling.
There is a skatepark for skateboarding and in the winter, a zambonied ice skating loop. Timmy’s and McDonald’s are conveniently located across the street. Several events are held here throughout the year such as an Easter hunt, Ribfest and lots more.
