The weather was perfect for this exciting hospital bed race down Bronte Road on May 5th. The event concludes a month-long fundraiser by 40 Oakville bank branches; BMO, CIBC, National Bank, RBC, Scotiabank and TD. They’ve been raising money for new patient care beds for the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Each team decorated their own bed and were timed as they ran south on Bronte Road. There were lots of fun and free festivities near the waterfront, and delicious pancakes served by Sunset Grill. Even though BMO came in first place, every team and participant was a winner, raising over $65,000 for OTMH.
