Labour Day weekend saw the 24th anniversary of Canada’s largest Ribfest, proudly organized by the Rotary Club of Burlington Lakeshore. Since the very first Ribfest in 1996, all proceeds collected have gone to charity.
A lineup of great bands rocked the main stage at Spencer Smith park, including Stone Monkeys, Bare Blue Sea and many others. Award-winning rib chefs set up giant barbecues in the park; Fat Boys Ribs, Carolina Ribs, Memphis Blazin’ BBQ, Billy Bones, and so many more. There were inflatable slides and jumpers for the little people, Ferris wheel, and other amusement park rides near the pier. The park was hopping with people for the whole weekend, another great success for Rotary Burlington Lakeshore and all of the charities they support.
