Elements of Humber Fashion Show in Toronto

The Fashion Arts and Business program of Humber College presented the annual Walk it Out fashion show by Elements of Humber on April 9th. Proceeds from the show benefitted Youth Without Shelter, a charity that helps provide shelter and support programs for homeless youth ages 16-24. MC was Jennifer Dawson, program coordinator of Fashion Arts and Business professor and Toronto based fashion illustrator, Sabina Fenn, was the live illustrator of the show. The student-run fashion show had a huge gathering of fashion lovers, designers, college faculty and student’s families and friends to enjoy and appreciate the creative designs and effort that went into producing the show. The graduating students of the Fashion Arts Program worked with 10 well known Canadian designers with their Spring/Summer collections and showcased the theme on the runway. The experience provided hands-on training for the Fashion Arts students to showcase their skills. The show was truly a project they owned from start to finish. Supported by their professors, they were in control and in charge of every aspect of the production. The event was a great success.
