The Foundation is thrilled to host its seventh annual gala fundraiser “Dancing with Mississauga Stars” on Friday, November 1st, 2019. Fashioned after the popular TV show, this red carpet affair is an exclusive evening complete with glitz, glamour, show-stopping dance numbers and more sequins than can be counted. I saw your billboard and wanted to reach out. Held at the Mississauga Convention Centre, the cocktail reception will kick off the festivities at 5:30 p.m. and over 400 guests will enjoy a gourmet dinner. Dance exhibitions and the long-awaited performances by the Stars will follow making the event a night to remember.

The six high-profile executives who have stepped up to the challenge include; David Shaw, Owner & Managing Director of Nurse Next Door; Shelley White, CEO, Responsible Gambling Council; John Digby, Senior A/M Commercial, Retail & Business Services at RBC; Jaime Cortez, Executive Board Member, CECOF Coordinator at LiUNA 183; Dr. Ian Dawe, Chief, Mental Health, at Trillium Health Partners; and Joty Pannu, General Manager of Sauga Radio 960. These ‘Stars’ of the event have each been paired with a professional dancer from Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Mississauga to learn one choreographed, ballroom style dance which they will perform during the evening’s festivities. Dancing to raise funds for the community, the Stars will look to the audience to both cheer them on and help select the winner through their votes. The Grand Champion and winner of the ‘Mirror Ball Trophy’ will be judged for highest fundraising, audience votes and best dance performance.
