Grimsby Remembrance Day Ceremony

An official parade ceremony was held on Monday, November 11, 2019, at the Grimsby Cenotaph, located at the Grimsby Museum, at 10:45 am.  Community members of Grimsby came together on this snowy day, as a tribute to all Canadians that served in the War and honoured those who gave their lives for our freedom.

Following the service at the Cenotaph, Cadets of 62 Grimsby Phantom Squadron marched through the Town of Grimsby from the Grimsby Museum along Main St. East, in honour of remembering those that fought in the Great War.  At the conclusion of the ceremony, everyone was invited for refreshments at RCL Branch 127 – “Lest We Forget”
