Halloween Harvest at the Bradley, sponsored by HollyFrontier and organized by the Museums of Mississauga, provided pre-registered family groups with a safe, outdoor educational experience. Old-fashion Halloween and harvest traditions were enthusiastically demonstrated
Each group was guided by a friendly Museums of Mississauga staff member. Displays included harvest vegetables, old Halloween traditions, apple recipes and a display of honeybees. The tour concluded with a drink of warm apple cider.
A not-so-wicked witch gave each group a special activity bag filled with crafts and treats to take home. The grounds of the Bradley were decorated with carved pumpkins as well as the beauty of the autumn tree leaves.
