Holly Jolly Santa Tour

On December 21, 2020  the first annual Holly Jolly Santa Tour took place. Santa Claus traveled through Lorne Park for some much needed holiday cheer! Whiteoaks Lorne Park Community Association (www.wlpca.ca) invited Santa to wave as he was drawn by horse and carriage. Children and adults excitedly watched him go by from within their own households or front yards.

For safety reasons, Santa did not make any stops, and neighbours were asked to follow public health direction and maintain a 2m physical distance. Residents could tune into Radio Humber for holiday music and important timely updates on Santa sightings along the route. Santa made sure to visit Crescent Road to see the festive decorations and support the street’s initiative to raise donations for The Compass food bank. The local community sponsors who made the event possible included The Regan Team, Battaglias, Le Delice Pastry Shop, Blair Ann Photography Studio, and Team Watts Real Estate.
