Legends Row

On Saturday, February 15th, Legends Row Class of 2018, Susan Harris, Darryl Sittler and Fred Loek (posthumously) were enshrined in Mississauga’s Walk of Fame at the Mississauga Civic Centre. Friends and family gathered for photos and a light bite before the ceremony then went downstairs to the Great Hall where many fans were seated awaiting the Induction Celebration. Being named a member of Legends Row is the highest honour a citizen of Mississauga can achieve.

Our History
This land is situated within the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation. Many Aboriginal peoples have traversed this land over time, including Woodland, Wyandot (Wendat/Huron) and Anishiaabe peoples. We acknowledge that many First Nations, Inuit, Metis and global peoples now call Mississauga home. We welcome everyone.

The Legends Row initiative was created in March, 2012 by a small group of dedicated community volunteers and culminated with its opening on June 3rd, 2017. Through their efforts, Mississauga’s “Walk of Fame” will continue to recognize and celebrate the legacy of our city’s unique citizens, helping us enrich and foster community pride and spirit.
