Mississauga’s Music Walk of Fame in Port Credit Memorial Park was established in 2012 by the late Councillor Jim Tovey to recognize the amazing musical talents that have come out of Mississauga. Last year, to honour the late Councillor Jim Tovey, Jim was the sole inductee for the Mississauga Music Walk of Fame.
This year, the Mississauga Music Walk of Fame chose Phil X and Prakash John to be its 2019 Inductees. BON JOVI lead guitarist, “Phil” Xenidis – better known as Phil X – is a Canadian musician and songwriter who grew up in Mississauga, Ontario. Prakash John is a world-renowned Rock and Roll Hall of Fame bass player and former Mississauga resident. Many came out to the ceremony to welcome and honour these two internationally renowned musicians.
