Phelps Homes held their Annual Family Literacy Day hosted at the Grimsby Library on Saturday, January 25th. The Library was buzzing as there were so many arts and crafts to do, face painting, dancing, playing instruments as well as the very popular Therapy Tails. It was a fun-filled afternoon for the whole family as they tried all kinds of play-based activities that help promote reading and learning.
Thank you to many of the welcoming partners from all over the community for making this event a success – Grimsby’s FUN School of Music, Grimsby Fire Department with Sparky The Fire Dog, Niagara Children’s Centre, Pathstone Mental Health, Town of Grimsby, Niagara Regional Police Service Kinetic Elements Dance Studio and many more.
