The Whiteoaks Lorne Park Community Association organized its traditional Pumpkin Parade on November 1st. Starting in the early evening, student volunteers from neighbouring schools began lighting the candles and lining up the pumpkins. The community’s over 500 creatively carved pumpkins were enjoyed one last time by hundreds of people strolling through the trail before the pumpkins were recycled with the help of Clement Lawn Services and then by the Region of Peel. Hot chocolate was donated by Back Road Motor Coffee Company. Donations to the Compass Food Bank were greatly appreciated.
