Their experience in unique and complex projects make them the first choice when it comes to something as simple as installing a shelf or the most intricate kitchen. What inspired you to launch Elite Granite?
I grew up with family working in the stone industry so stone was always of interest. Eventually I came to work for shops throughout my teen years building great rapport with customers. I felt restricted with the service and services I could provide and knew if I was to open my own shop, I would be able to be fully committed and in such provide an elite experience for my clients.
What type of materials and services do you offer to your customers?
We work with Granite, Marble, Limestone, Recycled Glass and of course Quartz. Specializing in fabrication and installation. We also provided sinks, faucets, and Backsplash.
Tell us about your renovation process? What are the first steps?
It’s best to start with a plan. We encourage our clients to come in and meet with one of our staff to get all their ideas on paper. From there, we can narrow down what material and style will best suit their needs and homes.
What separates you from your competition?
Having worked for other companies, I have had a chance to see some of what does and doesn’t work. I have adapted the positive traits and apply them to ensure elite customer service and quality workmanship is provided.
What is one piece of advice you’d give to someone looking to redesign his or her space with new stone?
Go with what YOU like. Often friends and family can influence our decisions, but when choosing a stone and style, it’s important that we remember it’s you, the client that will be enjoying the redesign for years to come, not others.
What are some of the most challenging types of projects you’ve encountered and how did you overcome them?
The most challenging part can often be time lines. We recently had a man contact us as he wanted to surprise his wife with a “new kitchen” for their anniversary. The catch was that it was in 3 days! He had a dinner planned with his kids and wanted to bring her home to a new kitchen. We came up with a plan, without her knowing, got in to measure and we were able to pull of the stealth installation.
What is trending right now in your industry?
We see a variety, but I would have to say the light coloured Quartz is taking the lead with modern square edge over the previously desired Victorian Ogee edging with exotic granite colours.
What is the most unusual renovation request you’ve had?
Floating Material. After further discussion we understood the client wanted a quartz wall shelf comparing it to an IKEA floating shelf and fireplace mantel. We fabricated and installed a shelf and mantel that gave the illusion of floating material.
What areas do you serve?
We serve but are not limited to GTA, Halton Hills, Niagara Falls, etc. We have even traveled to Muskoka and the Bruce Peninsula. I’ve read many of your reviews and people couldn’t be more pleased with your service.
What does that mean to you?
Everything. We understand that it’s not everyday that clients get a new kitchen counter or replace their vanities. We ensure the client is listened to and guided through the decision making processes in the smoothest way possible. We take pride in delivering top quality customer service to match our elite craftmanship.
What does the future hold for Elite Granite?
We are always evolving and are currently transforming our showroom to provide clients with an even better experience. And of course we plan to continue growing our client base.
