RBG Train Exhibit

The RBG’s newest model train ran at the Rock Garden on Labour Day weekend. After a stroll through the breathtaking lower Rock Garden, one could view the exhibit inside the Robert Stipe Garden House. This G scale model takes visitors on a journey through four seasons of Canadian landscapes, including a miniature Easterbrook’s Restaurant in summer, and other whimsical details. There are 3 eras of locomotive history on display; steam engines and streamliners of bygone days and the powerful present-day diesel.

If you missed the exhibit, it returns during November and December.

RBG is grateful to Norman and Jackie Wells for donating this model in 2017. They had spent 16 years putting this together, right down to the finest details.
