Roger Wyatt and his band put on an impressive ‘Sinatra’s Songbook’ performance at West Plains United Church. Wyatt, a talented crooner, had a powerful stage presence as he sang dozens of the most popular hits of ‘Old Blue Eyes’. Fans loved the show. “If you closed your eyes, you would have thought you were right in the room with Frank Sinatra.” Other band members were outstanding; Pianist Robert Horvath, Bassist Attila Darvas, and Mark Polimeni on drums. Lianne Tan, organist and music director for West Plains United Church, coordinates the concerts. “There are several upcoming church events,” said Lianne, “including a May 4 garage sale and a fundraising musical concert on June 2.
