Royal Botanical Gardens’ Tea Fest

During the weekend of Nov 9, RBG partnered with Ming Tea to host the Tea festival with guest speakers, tasting competitions, and presentations. It was a different kind of tea party. Visitors learned everything they wanted to know about white tea which improves with age, the many varieties of oolong, the myths associated with tea over the centuries, and so much more. There was even a presentation on the history of teacups. Most vendors were doling out samples so customers could make an informed decision before buying.

Judging by the turnout at the RBG Centre, this flavourful beverage must be more popular than ever.
