The annual Sp’egg’tacular Easter Egg Hunt took place in the woods of the Ireland House Estate on April 13th. Children were entertained afterwards by sheep, goats and tiny bunnies at the petting zoo, face painting, and Easter-themed games and crafts. The historic house was open for tours and treats as Valerie baked hot cross buns in the open-hearth downstairs. Morgan and Wendy offered visitors hot chocolate. For the adults, there was a small vendor market onsite selling local handmade treasures and desserts. It was a perfect sunny afternoon to spend gathering eggs and enjoying the spring weather.
