Pluckers Wing and Crab Shack called themselves the St. Patrick’s Headquarters of Aldershot. It certainly was the party place for many neighbours who had walked over to enjoy some green beer and camaraderie, dressed in their flashy garb. Festivities began at 11 am and featured Irish food and drinks all day long. The highlight was the excellent performance by Irish dancers Hilary Nixon, Emma Hewitson and Brenna Timmins from the Wilson Bryson Dennis School of Dancing. The young ladies had a very busy schedule, ushered to Pluckers and various other venues around the city to help celebrate the special day. Prizes were won throughout the day for best-dressed as fresh green and glitzy costumes kept appearing on the scene.
