Swansea Remembrance Day Ceremony

Over one hundred veterans, neighbours, dignitaries and servicemen and women assembled on the front Piazza of the Swansea Town Hall to commemorate the men of Swansea who gave their lives in World War 1 and for whom the Swansea Memorial Library was created.  Also honoured, were all those who served in wars and peacekeeping missions and those who have sacrificed themselves for Canada. The students of Summit Micro School beautifully recited “Voices of Remembrance”.  Refreshments were served following the ceremony.
