Waterdown Blooms for Africa

The Blooms for Africa Garden Tour, through the Stephen Lewis Foundation, raises funds to support Grandmothers caring for orphaned children in Africa who have lost their parents to AIDS. The movement began in Canada and continues to spread to the US, UK and Australia.

Wandering through Waterdown Gardens took place in the evenings of July 12th and 13th and was proudly sponsored by Woolcott Realty and Dawn Victoria Homes. It included some of the most stunning backyards in the village, featuring inviting pools, live music and fire pit areas. One yard even had a chicken coop and converted army barracks. It was a great opportunity for everyone involved to share and obtain gardening knowledge and inspiration.
